Earn an Undergraduate Certificate in Substance Use Disorders. Please apply by September 20th 2025 if your goal is to complete the certificate by May 2026. Later applications are still welcome, but may require taking courses until May 2027
Program Objectives
- Preparation of students for employment in substance use disorder treatment settings
- Increase students’ awareness and understanding of alcohol and substance misuse in society
- Provide current information on alcohol and other drug abuse treatment and practice
- Provide current information, knowledge and skills in working with individuals and families affected by substance misuse
Criteria
- 12 Credit Hours before a student can apply
- Students must have a 2.5 GPA
- Students must get at least a C in all of the Certificate Courses
