IU’s nationally ranked MSW program offers full- and part-time degree pathways, as well as an advanced standing option for students who have graduated from an accredited BSW program.


Admission to our doctoral program is competitive, with admissions decisions based on achievement and performance in undergraduate and graduate study, as well as other factors.
Located within the School of Social Work, IU’s Labor Studies program offers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees, a labor studies certificate, a minor, and courses customized for your organization.


Take your education one step further by applying to one of our certificate programs. Certificate programs are available in e-Social work practice, child abuse and neglect, and alcohol & drug abuse counseling.
Take courses for licensure or for enhancing your skills.

Bloomington students can take a minor in Labor Studies or Social Welfare Child Advocacy.
